Rugged and rustic, back ways and byways, majestic and mammoth, snowy slopes and sonorous streams-Wyoming is all this and much more. Wyoming is a state of “firsts”-- It is the home of America’s first national park (Yellowstone), its first national monument (Devil’s Tower), its first national forest (the Shoshone), the world’s largest mineral hot spring (Thermopolis) and it was the first state to give women the right to vote in 1869.
